Girl Put You're Record On And Smile

You make me smile like the sun
Fall out of bed
Sing like a bird
Dizzy in my head
Spin like a record
Crazy on a Sunday night
You make me dance like a fool
Forget how to breathe
Shine like gold
Buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
Ohh you make me smile

There is a cozy cottage on big fish lake that is one of my favorite places to go. It's a place where no one carries there cell phone. It's a place where no one looks at the time. It's a place where there is no such thing as problems. I'm pretty sure that the whole time I'm there you see nothing but smiles and kids (and people acting like kids!) having fun!
[Here is a map of the lake]

I started going up to the Kerby's Kottage with the Osborn's about 8 summers ago and have had a blast everytime I've been up there!

[Hilary and I doing some sweet stunt moves! haha. Okay. Mostly Hilary!]
[Swimming Hole!]
[Hilary, Me, and Morgan!]

Today I got up and drove with Mrs. Osborn to the Kottage. We got there just in time to get some tubing in before a big storm hit.
[I think tubing might just be my favorite thing to do!]
[Right after Hilary and I jumped on each each others tube to switch!]
[I seriously think I have something wrong with the circulation in my feet. This is right after I got done tubing (sorry if this is a little gross!!!]]
[Jake and Tyler got some pretty nasty waves. I wish I got this on camera because it was really awesome.]
[Although the weather turned pretty nasty so we didn't do much tubing I still had an awesome day!]

[Kid's smiling faces many years ago. Now Matt (the kid on the very right with red shorts on) is taller then me!!!]

[Kid's smiling faces today]

Maybe sometimes, we've got it wrong, but it's alright
The more things seem to change, the more they stay the sameOh, don't you hesitate.

Although so many things have changed in the past 8 summers, something always stays the same. And that is the carefree, stupendous weekends I spend at Big Fish Lake.

Parties

I love parties. And this weekend I have had my fill of them. Friday night I had a Settlers party at my house. Saturday night I served at a wedding, and sunday I had a grad party and a family party for memorial day.

More than I love going to parties; I love hosting them. (All except for the cleaning before hand!) I love making food for them. I love hostessing at them. All around, I lust love having them a lot.
Here in St. Joe there are a lot of us that are in love with the game Settlers of Catan. If you haven’t played it before you are really missing out. So on Friday night I decide to host the first settler’s party of the season.

[I made some awesome brownies!]
My Saturday was filled with shopping, showers, and work.  In the morning I went shopping with my Mom and sister. I got a cute dress for Dan’s grad party, a romper (I’ve finally found one!), some brown gladiator heels, and some other awesome clothes.
[My new shoes]
After shopping I took a shower and got ready for my first night working at my weekend job (which is serving with CK catering for weddings). The wedding I was working at had over 500 people and was a lot of work. After 7 hours of set up, serving, and clean up, my feet were sore and my body was gross. Needless to say I took another shower as soon as I got home! I think I am going to really like this job it just kinda sucks that they are on the weekend.

[Beth and I all ready to get to work!]

On Sunday I went to church and then went to ( a very burnt) Dan's graduation party.

[Dan got a little too much sun at his track meet on Saturday!]

[I am so proud of him!]

Happy Memorial Day!

393,120 Minutes

When you hear the name Mandy Moore you may think of a certain actress/recording artist.

{Amanda Leigh Moore}

However, when I hear the name Mandy Moore, I think of the (second ;) ) most awesome sophomore AU has ever seen!
{Amanda Renee Moore}

273 days ago my life changed for the better. On August 27, 2009, I met Mandy Moore. (Oh yeah, I also moved to Anderson that day too!) Mandy and I lived two doors down from each other for the following eight amazing months. Second semester we both had 8am classes. Seeing her grumpy, not-yet-awake smiling face every morning before class always brightened my day! Mandy (and Meghan's) room was like a second room to me. I would wander over there many times a day (ever if they weren't there) to take a nap, do homework, or anything else I felt like.
[A lot of people though of Mandy and Meghan's room as a second home. Here is Leslie taking a nap in their room!]

There are so many awesome memories I have of Mandy... here are a few:
-Dinner: Most nights either Mandy would ask me or I would ask her when the other person was going to dinner and our automatic answer was, "Whenever you are!"
-Showering: Mandy and I loved taking showers together. We would blast the music and sing.
-Shower pranks: I loved playing pranks on Mandy. Sometimes I would throw some cold water in and some other times I would try and hug her through the shower curtain... I don't think she was really a fan of either!
-text: One morning my alarm didn't go off for my 8am and it was a day I could not miss. So Mandy called and woke me up so I didn't miss class. Thank you so much for doing that!
- Random Wal-Mart trips: I loved going on these with you!
- Easy Mac: One day Mandy was in my room and she was hungry so I said I would make her some easy mac. So I went to her room and started making it and put bottled water in like she asked me too. However what I didn't realize was that the water I put in was flavored water! That easy mac ended up tasting so bad. (But Mandy still ate it anyway!)
-pictures: Mandy liked to leave videos and pictures on my photo booth like this picture and video....

TOP TWO

- Listening to Justin Bieber
- Looking at baby animals!

I'm not sure how I got started but one day I was looking at them and Mandy came in and started looking at them with me and now we are addicted!

[How could someone not think these are the most adorable things ever!]

I haven't seen Mandy in three weeks and I really miss her. However I don't think we have gone a day without a text, fb message, or phone call. Mandy and I send each other picture texts a lot. I love love love all the texts she sends me!
These are some from school:
[I'm looking at baby animals in class, I can't help myself!]
[My response: I'm looking at them in your bed right now!]
[She responded back with: Don't move I'll be there and soon as class is over and we can look at them together!]
[This is a lovely picture that Mandy and her boyfriend, Addison, left on my phone. I think it was my background for almost a month! haha. Is that weird?!?]

Here are some from the past three weeks:
[I miss you!]

[And the unpacking begins :(]
[and... kitty doesn't like it]
[Mom, i don't like this work out thing.]
[They all baked together. Got burnt. And flattened. Idk which order!]

[Love you :) ]

[My name is Ordonez and I like you naomi. :) ]

[Kitty like the window seat:) ]

[ :) ]

[oops] - Those are my socks!

[I know this will make your day!]
[baby turtles!]

Three hundred ninety-three thousand
one hundred and twenty minutes
Three hundred ninety-three thousand
one hundred and twenty
moments so dear
Three hundred ninety-three thousand
one hundred and twenty minutes
How do you measure, measure friendship

In classes, in lunches, in midnight chats,
in cups of juice, In walks, in miles
in laughter in the valley,

In Three hundred ninety-three thousand
one hundred and twenty minutes
How do you measure time of a friendship?

How about Love
how about love
how about love
measure in love
seasons of love
seasons of love

Three hundred ninety-three thousand
one hundred and twenty minutes
Three hundred ninety-three thousand
journeys to plan
Three hundred ninety-three thousand
one hundred and twenty minutes
how do you measure the life of our friendship

Its time now to sing out
though the story never ends
lets celebrate remember a (almost) year
in the life of friends

HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY, MANDY MOORE!
I love you and miss you!
Love, Nao
